Polyacrylamide (PAM), alias: flocculant, anion, cation,
polymer; Polymers, retention and filtration AIDS, retention AIDS, dispersants; Polymer, oil displacement agent, etc.
Factors affecting the effect of sewage treatment:
1. Sludge is an inevitable product of sewage treatment. First of all, we should understand the source, nature, composition and solid content of sludge. According to the main composition of sludge, sludge can be divided into organic sludge and inorganic sludge. Generally speaking, cationic polyacrylamide is used for the treatment of organic sludge, anionic polyacrylamide is used for the treatment of inorganic sludge. It is not easy to use cationic polyacrylamide when the alkaline is very strong, and it is not suitable to use anionic polyacrylamide when the solid content of sludge is high.
2. Ion degree selection: for the sludge to be dehydrated, flocculant with different ion degree can be screened through small experiment to select the appropriate polyacrylamide, so that it can achieve better flocculant effect, but also can make the dosage minimum, cost saving.
3. The size of the flocs: flocs too small will affect the speed of drainage, flocs too general assembly to flocs bound more water and reduce the mud biscuit degree. The size of flocs can be adjusted by choosing the molecular weight of polyacrylamide.
4. The strength of the flocs: flocs should remain stable and not broken under the action of shear. Increasing the molecular weight of polyacrylamide or selecting the appropriate molecular structure is helpful to improve the stability of flocs.
5. The mixture of polyacrylamide and sludge: polyacrylamide in a certain position of the dehydration equipment must be fully reacted with sludge, flocculation. Therefore, the viscosity of polyacrylamide solution must be suitable, and it can be fully mixed with sludge under existing equipment conditions. Whether the two are mixed evenly is the key factor for success. The viscosity of cationic polyacrylamide solution is related to its molecular weight and preparation concentration.
6. The dissolution of cationic polyacrylamide: dissolve well to give full play to flocculation. Sometimes it is necessary to speed up the dissolution rate, when the concentration of polyacrylamide solution can be considered.
